Whilst medical treatments are exempt from VAT, recent changes have required us to
add VAT onto treatments that are purely
for cosmetic reasons (ie non-medical).
Many people receive botulinium toxin treatment for control of migraine, migraine headaches and atypical facial pain.
Others seek so-called "cosmetic treatments" for the treatment
of poor self-esteem and depression.
Some of these treatments may be long-term and ongoing. There are many other medical reasons that people seek advice from cosmetic practitioners such as ourselves.
We expressly employ registered healthcare practitioners to provide these services in the understanding that our treatments are for primarily medical reasons.

We hope that you do not mind certifying that your treatment is for the relief of a medical condition; we feel that a paper record of this fact will enable us not to have to add additional cost onto your treatment.

If, however, the treatment is for cosmetic reasons, we will need to add VAT at 17,5%. We sincerely apologise for this fact.

Booking policy

We trust you to arrive on time, nevertheless we tend to remind you the day before. If you cannot make the appointment please give us 48 hours notice so that somebody else can take the space. Cancelling at late notice deprives others of an appointment and frustrates all of us. If you repeatedly cancel within 48 hours we will politely ask you to pay a deposit for the next treatment; this will be £60. This will be taken off the cost of the treatment on your arrival, or forfeited in the case of non-arrival.
 

Ultrashape booking policy
Should you wish to book the Ultrashape treatment we kindly ask for half of the treatment cost as a deposit. This is non-refundable in the event of non-attendance. If, however, after the consultation your therapist feels that the treatment is not suitable for you then the deposit will be returned immediately.

We accept cash, cheques and all major credit cards.
Practitioners

We all work different days and have different personalities.  After meeting us, you will be able to choose your preferred practitioner. We are all skilled and experienced in the procedures that we perform.  Follow-up treatments with your chosen practitioner are almost always possible at the time you would like. Sometimes early booking is recommended, especially for lunch time and evening appointments.

It is the first consultation that can sometimes be difficult to book at your preferred time.  In order to ensure that waiting time for new appointments with Dr Dancey is kept to a minimum our more routine procedures are performed by Faye, Lucy, Jit and Sylvia. The results will be the same as is the level of expertise in that procedure.
