The hard slog is underway so I search out more passive and pleasurable options to tackle cellulite. Dr Elisabeth Dancey, author of The Cellulite Solution, explains cellulite is caused by poor lymphatic drainage and poor micro-circulation. At her clinic on Winchester Street she examines my legs and says the cellulite isn't severe. "You've been lucky,"she says sternly, "but it will catch up with you."
She tells me to reduce toxins such as sugar, hydrogenated fat and alcohol and increse good foods such as fruit, veg and protein. "There is no magic wand, I'm afraid," says Dancey, "you need multi-faceted intervention."
She starts me on a course of Vibratone, a vibration therapy which stimulates lymph drainage and circulation, and electromagnetic therapy, which is said to increase its flow between cells.
 
The Pre-Holiday Peel
What is it? Unlike some chemical peels that remove layers of skin and require a fortnight's recovery, the Rejuvenation & Revitalisation Peel immediately delivers younger skin.
